Grouper production in Indonesia can be supported by hybridization technology which produce grouper species with relatively faster growth and more resistance to disease. Cantang is a type of fish that was engineered crossbreeding between female tiger (Epinephelus fuscoguttatus) male Kertang lanceolatus).
